We will pick you up in Nairobi either at your hotel/airport. You are to be briefed on safari ahead and proceed to Mara with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point where you will stop and take some snaps of the sheer drop of the Rift Valley, the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot. Drive on to Masai Mara arriving at the camp in the early afternoon. Lunch shall be served at the camping area and you may take a little siesta. Later, you will proceed on a game drive at 4pm as the mid-day heat retreats and as the sun goes down and wildlife emerges from the shade. Your driver/guide will spot wildlife and give you a close up look and details of their behavior and way of life. At 6:30 PM your game drive will end. Have breakfast or take packed breakfast & lunches and head out on a full day game drive in Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. Early morning is the best time to spot Africa’s big cats as they complete their night’s hunt or feed on their prey. You have great chances to view lions, cheetahs and leopards at this time of the morning. Your day to day game drives are flexible to be decided by you to ensure you are able enjoy wildlife and photographic opportunities presented. You shall drive along the Savannah plains of the Mara crossing streams as you search for wildlife that is scattered all over the game reserve. On this day wake up early with an option of packed breakfast and set out for your game drives as you drive towards Naboisho where you shall check-in, have lunch and rest. In the afternoon at around 3pm embark evening game drives whereby you will Wind up your day with an afternoon game drive complete with a Basecamp sundowner. Watch as the gorgeous African sunset dips into the horizon while sipping on a cool drink. Enjoy a night game drive en-route to camp. Spot the nocturnal wildlife of Naboisho. Wake up at dawn for an early morning walking safari. During the walk, your Masai guide will teach you some of the finer details of the savannah, including how to identify animal footprints and different kinds of dung. Return to camp later in the morning for a hearty breakfast. You shall later check out and drive back to Mara with lunch en-route payable direct. Upon arriving in Nairobi if time allows you can buy some souvenirs to remind you of a great holiday in the Mara and be dropped at the airport for your Outbound flight.
